信濃毎日新聞社と富士通、多様なメディア配信に活用可能なAIによる自動記事要約システムを実現

東京, 2018年01月15日 - (JCN Newswire) - 信濃毎日新聞株式会社（本社：長野県長野市、代表取締役社長：小坂壮太郎、以下信濃毎日新聞社）と、富士通株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長：田中達也、以下富士通）は、富士通のAI（人工知能）技術「FUJITSU Human Centric AI Zinrai」を活用した記事要約の実証実験を行い、多様なメディア配信に活用できる自動記事要約システムを実現しました。

信濃毎日新聞社は本システムをCATV向けのニュース配信サービスに導入し、2018年4月より本格的な運用を開始します。これにより、CATV向けニュース配信サービスの運用の迅速化を実現します。

本システムは、株式会社富士通研究所（注1）が開発した、自然言語処理技術と機械学習を組み合わせた自動要約技術を活用したものです。実証実験では、1件の記事あたり人手で最大約5分かけて行っていた要約作業を瞬時に自動実行するとともに、既存の要約技術であるLEAD法（注2）よりも人手に近い高精度な要約が可能であることを実証しました。

富士通は、本システムを信濃毎日新聞社の現在のワークフローを変更することなく容易に適用できるWeb API（注3）として提供します。
