昭和電工、エマルジョン製品の価格改定について

東京, 2018年01月16日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：森川宏平）は、エマルジョン製品「ポリゾール(R)」の販売価格を次のとおり引き上げることを決定し、お客様との交渉を開始いたしました。

1. 価格改定の内容

1)値上げ幅
エチレン－酢酸ビニル系 16円／kg以上
酢酸ビニル系 14円／kg以上

2)実施時期
2018年2月1日出荷分より

2. 価格改定の背景

エマルジョン製品のうち、エチレン-酢酸ビニル系製品や酢酸ビニル系製品は、主にエチレンや酢酸ビニルから製造されます。現在、これらの主原料であるナフサおよび酢酸の価格は、原油市況等の状況から上昇傾向にあります。また、安全・安定供給に不可欠な物流等の費用も値上がりを続けています。これらの外部環境の変動によるコストの上昇は、当社の努力のみでの吸収が困難であり、お客様に価格改定をお願いせざるを得ないという結論にいたりました。

エマルジョン製品は、接着剤や塗料用など多岐にわたり、日常生活に密接な関係を持った合成樹脂です。また、エマルジョン製品は水を媒体とし、有機溶剤等を含まないため、環境への負荷が低い製品として、住宅建材・建築・繊維・紙加工など様々な用途に利用されています。
