三菱電機、HID高天井用照明器具の無償点検・修理について

東京, 2018年01月22日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、1978年から2015年に製造・販売した、主に工場・倉庫・体育館等の天井に吊下げて使用する「HID※1 高天井用照明器具」の一部機種において、吊具の接続金具が外れて落下する可能性があることが判明しましたので、無償にて点検・修理を実施することをお知らせします。

お客さまへの告知は、2018年1月22日以降、当社および三菱電機照明株式会社ホームページへの掲載、ならびに工場・倉庫関連に向けて業界紙、機関紙上への「お詫びとお願い」の掲載や、体育館関連に向けては教育委員会等へのダイレクトメール等にて周知を図ります。

本件は、当社および三菱電機照明株式会社が製造・販売した一部機種が、長期間の使用によりランプからの熱影響が蓄積することで吊具の接続金具が外れて器具本体が電源線のみで保持される状態となり、さらに継続使用されると電源線が断線して落下し、お客さまにその照明器具が当たりお怪我をされる可能性もあることが判明したため、実施するものです。

また、一部機種の接続金具に仕様と異なる材料を誤って使用していたことも判明しています。
