中部電力とトヨタ、電動車用電池のリユース・リサイクル事業の実証を開始

豊田, 2018年01月31日 - (JCN Newswire) - 中部電力株式会社（本社：名古屋市、代表取締役社長：勝野哲、以下「中部電力」）とトヨタ自動車株式会社（本社：豊田市、代表取締役社長：豊田章男、以下「トヨタ」）は、電動車の駆動用電池（以下、「電池」）をリユースした大容量蓄電池システム（以下、「蓄電池システム」）の構築、および使用済み電池のリサイクルについて実証を開始することとし、本日、基本合意書を締結いたしました。

中部電力は、再生可能エネルギーの大量導入に対して需給バランスの変動に的確に対応するとともに、電力系統の更なる合理的運用に向けた取り組みを推進しております。

一方、トヨタは、2017年12月に「電動車普及に向けたチャレンジ」を公表するなど、電動車の積極的な普及を進めるとともに、電池の有効活用など、電動車の普及を支える社会基盤の整備にも取り組んでおります。
