三菱電機、対象物の状況の変化を瞬時に把握してリアルタイムに対応できる「器用に制御する AI」を開発

東京, 2018年02月08日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、当社AI技術「Maisart（マイサート）※1」の1つである「スマートに学習できるAI※2」を活用し、対象物の状況の変化を瞬時に把握してリアルタイムに対応できる「器用に制御するAI」を開発しました。産業用ロボットなどの機器に適用することで、形状が変化する柔軟物や状況が大きく変化する対象物に対しても容易に自動化が実現できます。

開発の特長

1. AIと複数センサーで、対象物の状況の変化をリアルタイムに把握
- 対象物の状況を複数のセンサーによりデータとして取得し、ディープラーニングの結果を用いた推論を常時繰り返すことで状況の変化をリアルタイムに把握
- AI技術（ディープラーニング）と機器の知見を生かし、わずか3.5ms※3 のリアルタイム制御を実現

2. AI技術により、制御アルゴリズムをリアルタイムで自律的に再設計が可能
- 当社AI技術「Maisart」の「スマートに学習できるAI」により学習期間を短縮
- AI技術（深層強化学習）によって最適な制御アルゴリズムを自ら獲得することができ、設計者による複雑な制御アルゴリズムの再設計が不要
