三菱商事、豪州ニューサウスウェールズ州ワークワース炭鉱の売却完了

東京, 2018年03月07日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱商事株式会社（以下、当社）は、2017年6月13日付プレスリリースの通り、100％子会社の三菱デベロップメント社（Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd、本社：豪州ブリスベン）を通じて28.9％を保有するワークワース炭鉱権益をヤンコール・オーストラリア社（Yancoal Australia Ltd、豪州証券取引上場）に売却する合意をしておりましたが、2018年3月7日付けにて売却を完了しましたので、お知らせ致します。

尚、本件に係わる売却益については、2017年度通期業績見通しに織り込んでおります。

当社は、「中期経営戦略2018」に於いて、資源分野については投融資残高を増やさないこととしており、積極的な資産入れ替えを通じたポートフォリオの強靭化を推進致します。
