富士通研究所、お客様の重要な業務を停止させないクラウド運用技術を開発

東京, 2018年03月28日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社富士通研究所（注1）（以下、富士通研究所）はこのたび、メンテナンスが原因でお客様の業務を遅延・停止させることなく、安心して使えるクラウドを実現するためのクラウド運用技術を開発しました。

クラウド事業者がメンテナンスを行う場合、お客様が利用している仮想マシンを別のサーバに退避させるなどの対応の必要がありますが、それが原因でお客様の業務が止まったり速度が低下したりするなどの影響が出ることがありました。そのため、ミッションクリティカルな業務にクラウドを利用しにくい問題がありました。

今回、仮想マシンの負荷パターンと、機械学習によって算出したメンテナンスによるお客様業務への影響度合いを予測し、業務影響を避けつつ、メンテナンスを行う計画を短い時間で自動作成する技術を開発しました。

本技術により、お客様の重要な業務を停止・遅延させないクラウド運用を実現し、より安定稼働が必要な業務を行うお客様のクラウド利用を支援します。今後、富士通株式会社が提供するクラウドサービス「FUJITSU Cloud Service K5」の運用を支える機能として2018年度中のサービス化を目指します。
