トヨタ自動車、量販型燃料電池バス「SORA」を発売

燃料電池バスとして、国内で初めて型式認証を取得。2020年までに東京を中心に100台以上の普及を見込む

豊田, 2018年03月28日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車(株)（以下、トヨタ）は、燃料電池バス（以下、FCバス）「SORA＊1」の型式認証をFCバスとして国内で初めて取得し、3月7日より販売を開始しました。

今後、2020年の東京オリンピック・パラリンピックに向けて、東京を中心に100台以上のFCバス導入が予定されています。市街地を走行するFCバスが増えるにつれて、一般社会からの理解が高まっていくことを期待しています。

トヨタは、人々に寄り添い、皆がそれぞれの可能性にチャレンジできる社会づくりへのサポートを通じて、お客様の生活や社会全体の向上や改善に貢献したいという決意を込め、自動車会社からモビリティサービス会社への変革を目指すグローバル企業チャレンジ「Start Your Impossible」を開始しました。「SORA」の開発にあたっても、お客様に移動の自由を提供し、街のアイコンとして親しまれるバスを追求しました。
