TOYOTA、アクアに歩行者も検知する「Toyota Safety Sense」を採用

あわせて、サポカー＜Sワイド＞の特別仕様車を設定

豊田, 2018年04月03日 - (JCN Newswire) - TOYOTAは、アクアを一部改良するとともに、特別仕様車S“Style Black”を設定し、全国のトヨタ店、トヨペット店、トヨタカローラ店、ネッツ店を通じて、4月3日に発売しました。

今回の一部改良では、衝突回避支援パッケージ「Toyota Safety Sense＊1」において、昼間の歩行者も検知対象に加えた「プリクラッシュセーフティ（レーザーレーダー＋単眼カメラ）」を採用しました。また、駐車場などにおけるアクセルペダル踏み間違い時の衝突被害軽減に寄与する先進の安全機能「インテリジェントクリアランスソナー」を新規にオプション設定しました。外板色においては新規設定色ホワイトパールクリスタルシャイン（オプション）を含む全14色＊2を設定。外板色と異なるカラーパーツを組み合わせたFLEX TONE4色についても色の組み合わせを一新するとともに設定を拡大＊3し、魅力あるカラーバリエーションとしています。

あわせて、Sグレードをベースにブラックを基調とした内装で、「Toyota Safety Sense」や「インテリジェントクリアランスソナー」などを特別装備した特別仕様車S“Style Black”を設定しました。

今回の一部改良により、「Toyota Safety Sense」と「インテリジェントクリアランスソナー」装着車および、特別仕様車S“Style Black”は、「セーフティ・サポートカーS（通称：サポカーS）」の「ワイド＊4」に相当します。

ウェルキャブ（メーカー完成特装車）においても、ベース車と同様の改良を施しています。
