Honda、ブラジルにおける四輪車生産体制を再編

東京, 2018年04月04日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaのブラジルにおける四輪車の生産販売子会社であるホンダオートモーベイス・ド・ブラジル・リミターダ（本社：サンパウロ州スマレ市社長：イサオミゾグチ）は、現地時間2018年4月3日に以下を発表しましたので、その内容をご案内します。

Hondaは、ブラジル四輪車事業の基盤強化を目的にブラジル国内の生産体制を再編します。

近年、自動車の市場環境が大きく変化したブラジルでは、市場縮小から緩やかな回復傾向が見られる一方、当面の市場規模を踏まえた事業体質強化、および将来を見越した持続可能な事業基盤へのシフトが求められます。

Hondaはブラジルにおける生産体制の再編として、稼働開始を延期している新四輪車工場（サンパウロ州イチラピーナ市）での生産を2019年初めから開始するとともに、既存のスマレ工場（サンパウロ州スマレ市）における完成車生産を新四輪車工場へ順次移管。スマレ工場はパワートレーン生産を中心とした役割へ移行し、生産を継続します。

この再編を通して、Hondaは最新の生産技術が備わる新四輪車工場で、より高効率、かつ環境負荷の少ない生産を実現し、ブラジル四輪車事業の将来を担う新しい生産体制を構築します。再編は2021年に完了する予定です。

完成車生産の移管に伴い、関係するスマレ工場従業員は、新四輪車工場へ順次異動し、これまで培った生産ノウハウを活かします。

ブラジルで20年にわたり四輪車を生産するHondaは、地域の事業基盤をさらに強固なものとすることにより、今後も質の高い魅力的な商品をお客様へお届けしてまいります。
