富士通、次世代の基幹業務システムを支える「GS21」の新モデルを販売開始

東京, 2018年04月17日 - (JCN Newswire) - 当社は、メインフレーム製品の「GS21」シリーズを刷新し、超大型機「FUJITSU Server GS21（フジツウサーバジーエス21） 3600モデルグループ（以下、GS21 3600）」および中・大型機「FUJITSU Server GS21 3400モデルグループ（以下、GS21 3400）」を、2018年4月17日より販売開始します。あわせて、新モデルに対応したソフトウェア「FUJITSU Software GSS21sx V20（フジツウソフトウェアジーエスエス21エスエックスバージョン20、以下、GSS21sx）」の販売も開始し、オープンシステムとの連携をさらに強化します。

新モデルは、従来モデルに比べCPU性能が最大約20%向上し、設置面積が最大約40%縮小します。これにより、システムの集約・拡張性が向上し、デジタル化の進展に伴うデータ量の増大に対応できます。また、基幹業務システム管理における不正操作を防止するなどセキュリティをさらに強化し、データセンターなどにおける次世代の基幹業務システムを支えます。

また、お客様のメインフレーム継続のニーズに対応するため、中長期ロードマップを刷新し、2030年以降もメインフレームの継続提供と強化を保証します。

本製品は、5月17日（木曜日）～18日（金曜日）に東京国際フォーラム（東京都千代田区）で開催する「富士通フォーラム2018」に出展します。
