富士通、千葉大学と共同で、薬用植物・機能性植物の栽培技術を確立するための実証研究を開始

東京, 2018年04月18日 - (JCN Newswire) - 当社は、国立大学法人千葉大学（所在地：千葉市稲毛区、学長：徳久剛史、以下千葉大学）様と共同で、漢方薬や健康食品などの原料となる薬用植物・機能性植物を効率的かつ安定的に供給できる栽培技術の確立を目指し、生育状況と栽培環境との関連性を可視化し、生育に重要となる要素を分析する実証研究を、2018年4月18日から2019年3月31日まで行います。

日本では現在、漢方薬や健康食品の原料である薬用植物・機能性植物は、海外からの輸入に頼っていますが、耕作放棄地や休耕田の活用に向けて、薬用植物・機能性植物の栽培ニーズが高まる中、効率的かつ安定的に供給できる栽培技術が確立されていないことが大きな課題となっています。

本実証研究では、千葉大学様および協力農家様が、薬用植物・機能性植物の栽培時に、スマートフォンで音声入力した生育状況の計測結果をAI（自然言語解析）で該当するデータ項目に自動分類すると共に、フィールドセンサーで収集した地温や気象データなどの環境データとの関連性を可視化します。そのデータをもとに千葉大学様が、生育に重要となる要素を分析した上で協力農家様に適切な栽培アドバイスを行い、当社が構築する栽培データ記録システムに、協力農家様の栽培結果を千葉大学様の知見と合わせて蓄積します。
