昭和電工、コメ型経口ワクチン「MucoRice」に関する業務受託のお知らせ

東京, 2018年04月24日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社は、アステラス製薬株式会社が国立大学法人東京大学医科学研究所、国立大学法人千葉大学および株式会社朝日工業社と進めるコメ型経口ワクチン「MucoRice-CTB（以下、ムコライス）」の共同研究プロジェクトにおいて、アステラス製薬が担う業務の一部を受託する契約を締結しました。当社は今月より業務を開始し、本契約下において、植物育成用LED照明等をアステラス製薬へ提供いたします。

当社は、これまでに培ってきた経験やノウハウを活用し、ムコライスの開発に貢献してまいります。

昭和電工について

当社の植物育成用LED照明は、植物の光合成に最適な深紅色（波長660nm）を世界最高効率で発光できる*当社独自のLEDと青色LEDを搭載しています。当社独自の高速栽培法S法（SHIGYO(R)法）は、本LED照明を用い、それぞれの光を交互に照射することで、レタスを播種後30日で150gに成長させることができます。当社は、高速栽培法S法（SHIGYO(R)法）をベースに、光環境を自在に制御することで広範囲の栽培技術に対応します。
