Honda、汎用エンジン「GCV」シリーズを全面改良

東京, 2018年06月13日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaは、汎用エンジン「GCV」※1シリーズをフルモデルチェンジし、欧州の各種作業機械メーカーに向けて2018年9月より順次販売を開始します。GCVシリーズは、芝刈機や高圧洗浄機のパワーユニットとして、ご好評をいただいており、累計生産台数は全世界で3,600万台※2を超えています。

新型GCVシリーズでは、従来のGCV160、GCV190の2モデル構成に対し、「GCV145（総排気量：145cm3）」、「GCV170（166cm3）」、「GCV200（201cm3）」の3モデルを設定。優れた燃費性能はそのままに、燃焼室形状の変更などによる燃焼技術の向上により、クラス最大※3の出力・トルクを実現。同時に始動性の向上や振動の低減など一般家庭での使用を前提とした作業機器用パワーユニットとしての使いやすさも追求しています。

また、新型GCVシリーズを生産する熊本製作所では、二輪車生産のノウハウを活用した「GCV自動化組立ライン」を導入し、高効率かつ高品質なエンジン生産を可能としました。

さらに、新型GCVシリーズはHondaの歩行型芝刈機にも搭載され、オーストラリア、欧州、北米、日本など各地域で順次発売する予定です。
