三菱商事：福岡空港特定運営事業等基本協定の締結

東京, 2018年06月26日 - (JCN Newswire) - 福岡エアポートホールディングス株式会社を代表企業として、西日本鉄道株式会社、三菱商事株式会社、Changi Airports International Pte. Ltd.、九州電力株式会社から構成されるコンソーシアム「福岡エアポートHDグループ」は、2018年5月16日に「福岡空港特定運営事業等」の優先交渉権者に選定され、本日6月26日に国土交通省と基本協定を締結致しました。

本事業では、福岡空港の持つ東・東南アジアに近い地理的優位性や、都心部から至近に立地する国内随一の空港アクセスの利便性を活かしつつ、安全・安心な空港運営を行うことにより、福岡空港及び空港周辺地域の振興・発展を図り、内外交流人口拡大等による地域活性化に貢献して参ります。

今後は、来年4月1日に予定されております空港運営事業の開始に向けて、締結した基本協定に基づき、SPCの設立や実施契約締結の準備を進めて参ります。本事業に関する詳細は、国土交通省HP（http://www.mlit.go.jp/koku/koku_tk5_000025.html）をご覧ください。
