昭和電工、塩素化ポリエチレンの国内販売価格を改定

東京, 2018年07月05日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：森川宏平）は、合成樹脂の一種である塩素化ポリエチレン（商標名：エラスレン(R)）の国内販売価格を引き上げることを決定し、お客様との交渉を開始いたします。

1. 価格改定の内容

(1)値上げ幅
エラスレン(R)粉末 25円以上／kg以上
エラスレン(R) シート 25円以上／kg以上

(2)実施時期
2018年8月1日納入分より適用

2. 価格改定の背景
昨今の原料調達事情の悪化・コスト上昇、安定生産のための設備維持更新や環境対応投資、及び運送費などの諸経費の高騰が事業を圧迫しています。

当社はこれまでもコストダウンによる採算の改善に努めてまいりましたが、自助努力の限界を超える状況に至っております。今後も両製品の安定供給を維持するためには、お客様に一部負担をお願いせざるを得ないとの結論に達しました。

エラスレン(R)は、ポリエチレンの分子構造に含まれる水素の一部が塩素に置き換わった特徴のあるポリマーです。ポリエチレンの結晶性が崩されるため柔軟なポリマーとなります。難燃・耐油・耐候性の特長があり、自動車用ホース・電線被覆材の原料や、樹脂の改質材（難燃性、耐衝撃性付与）として利用されています。
