三菱商事、米飯・惣菜製造販売会社株式会社グルメデリカの子会社化のお知らせ

東京, 2018年08月07日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱商事株式会社（本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役社長：垣内威彦、以下、「三菱商事」）は、主に株式会社ローソン（以下、「ローソン」）向けに米飯・惣菜製品の製造・販売を行っている株式会社グルメデリカ（以下、「（旧）グルメデリカ」）が、草加工場及び本社の冷凍商品本部、外販営業開発部を除く事業を承継する新設会社（社名同じ、以下、「グルメデリカ」）の株式80%を、キユーピー株式会社（本社：東京都渋谷区、代表取締役：長南収、以下、「キユーピー」）より取得し、子会社化することとなりました。

（旧）グルメデリカは、1990年にキユーピーにより設立され、特にお弁当やおにぎり等の米飯分野での高い製造技術力・メニュー開発力に強みを持ち、約30年に亘り、中食製品の主力製造会社の一社としてローソン向けに納入実績があります。

今後は、引続きキユーピーの協力を得ながら、三菱商事グループの一員として、ローソンが中期戦略の中で掲げる「2021年迄に日販60万円」の達成に向け、米飯・惣菜分野の更なる強化を目指して参ります。

三菱商事グループとしては、グルメデリカの子会社化により、原材料の調達・製造・店舗物流から、ローソンでの販売まで全ての工程に関わることとなり、サプライチェーン全体の効率化を図り、お客さまにはより付加価値の高い商品をお届けすべく、ローソン米飯・惣菜製品の製造体制の強化に貢献して参ります。
