昭和電工、劣後特約付ローンの期限前弁済に関するお知らせ

東京, 2018年10月03日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：森川宏平）（以下「当社」といいます。）は、平成26年４月３日に資金調達いたしました総額240億円の劣後特約付ローン（以下、「本劣後ローン」）について以下の通り期限前弁済した旨お知らせいたします。

１．本劣後ローンの期限前弁済の背景及び目的

本劣後ローンについては、株式会社日本格付研究所から75％の資本性が認められるなど、当社財務体質の改善に寄与してまいりました。

本劣後ローンを調達して以降、構造改革の進展と個性派事業群の規模拡大により事業基盤の強化と収益力の改善が進展し、また中期経営計画において目標として掲げていた財務水準が達成されたことから、本劣後ローンによる財務体質の強化という大きな役割は終えたと考えております。

本劣後ローンの期限前弁済により金融コストを削減するとともに当社の財務戦略の柔軟性が高まり、株主価値の向上に繋がると判断し、貸付人全員の同意を得て本劣後ローン総額240億円を期限前弁済いたしました。

２．本劣後ローンの期限前弁済の内容

１）期限前弁済日：平成30年10月3日
２）期限前弁済の総額：240億円
３）業績に与える影響：本期限前弁済による当社平成30年12月期の連結業績予想への影響は軽微です
