Honda、インドで二輪車工場の生産能力を700万台に拡大

東京, 2018年10月04日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaのインドにおける二輪車生産・販売現地法人であるホンダモーターサイクルアンドスクーターインディアプライベート・リミテッド（以下、HMSI）は、本日、同社のスクーター専用工場である第四工場の年間生産能力を拡大することを発表しました。

HMSIの第四工場は、2016年2月に60万台で稼働を開始し、2016年6月には生産能力を120万台に拡大しました。今回は、新たに約63億ルピーを投資して、既存の工場敷地内に新しい生産ラインを建設します。この新ラインによって第四工場の生産能力は60万台拡大され、180万台となり、HMSIの年間総生産能力は現在の640万台から2020年には合計700万台となる見込みです。

Hondaは、今後もスクーターを中心に拡大が見込まれるインドの二輪車市場において、質の高い魅力的な商品をお客様へ提供してまいります。
