スポーティかつエレガントなデザインと進化した走行性能

豊田, 2018年10月31日 - (JCN Newswire) - LEXUSは、スポーツクーペ「RC」をマイナーチェンジし、全国のレクサス店を通じて10月31日に発売しました。

RCは、2014年の発売以来、クーペならではの人を魅了するデザインと、走りへの情熱を駆り立てる走行性能を兼ね備えたモデルとして、LEXUSの「エモーショナルな走り」のイメージをけん引してきました。

今回発表の新型RCは、フラッグシップクーペLCで培った新世代LEXUSのデザイン・走りを継承し、より魅力的なクーペに進化することを目標として開発しました。具体的には、独創的かつスポーティなイメージはそのままに、LCの流れを汲むエレガントなエクステリアデザインを両立させました。また、LEXUSならではの高い質感や快適性に加え、運転の愉しさを際立たせるインテリアとしました。さらに、LCのより鋭く、より優雅な走りを継承するため、空力性能の向上やタイヤ、サスペンションなどの主要部品を改良したほか、2.0Lターボエンジンの特性やステアリングフィールにいたるまで作りこみを実施。ドライバーの運転操作に忠実な高い操縦安定性と、フラットな車両姿勢や滑らかな走りによる優れた乗り心地を実現しています。
