トヨタ自動車、第56回技能五輪全国大会にて4職種で金メダルを獲得

豊田, 2018年11月05日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車(株)（以下トヨタ）は、沖縄県の那覇市民体育館を含む県内14会場※1で開催された第56回技能五輪全国大会※2（11/2～5）において、参加した10職種の内、4職種で金メダルを獲得した。

今回の大会では、昨年金メダルを獲得した木型と車体塗装の選手が連覇を達成。また、1966年に技能五輪の参加を開始して以来、女性としての金メダル獲得は2人目で、初の連覇となる。

今回の技能五輪全国大会の結果を受けて、豊田社長は、「トヨタの変わらぬDNA、『弛まぬ改善』を持ち続ける若きエンジニアが、緊張の中で日々磨き続けてきた技能を発揮できたことを大変嬉しく思っている。また選手を支えてくださった皆さまに心から感謝するとともに、一丸となって結果を出してくれたチームトヨタを誇りに思っている。海外などのライバルが力を伸ばす中で、今回の結果を自信に更なる高い技能に挑戦し、来年のロシア連邦での国際大会と日本のモノづくりの未来のために進化し続けて欲しい。」とコメントした。

なお、今回の金メダル獲得者（旋盤、フライス盤職種は除く※3）は、2019年8月にロシア連邦で開催される「第45回技能五輪国際大会」に日本代表として出場する。
