昭和電工、減損損失（特別損失）の計上に関するお知らせ

東京, 2019年02月14日 - (JCN Newswire) - 当社は、本日公表の平成30年12月期通期連結決算において、減損損失（特別損失）を計上いたしましたのでお知らせいたします。

1. 減損損失（特別損失）の計上
当社及び当社の連結子会社である昭和アルミニウム缶株式会社の飲料用アルミ缶事業（減損額8,845百万円）、当社のリチウムイオン電池材料事業（同4,641百万円）等において、今後の業績見通し等を勘案し事業価値の再評価を行った結果、固定資産の減損処理を行いました。このほか、当社の彦根事業所（同5,967百万円）、先端技術開発研究所（同1,864百万円）等において、遊休資産に対して減損処理を行った結果、22,573百万円を減損損失として特別損失に計上いたしました。

2. 連結業績に与える影響
業績への影響につきましては、本日公表の「平成30年(2018年)12月期決算短信〔日本基準〕（連結）」をご参照ください。
