デンソー、中部大学と微細藻類で免疫力向上の効果を確認、日本薬学会で発表

愛知, 2019年02月15日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社デンソー（本社:愛知県刈谷市、社長:有馬浩二）は、中部大学（生命健康科学部　河原敏男教授、大学院工学研究科　林京子客員教授）との共同研究において、デンソーと国立大学法人京都大学が特許を持つ微細藻類コッコミクサKJ（旧名シュードコリシスチス）*がノロウイルスに感染したマウスの体内にあるウイルスの消滅期間を短縮する効果を持つことを確認しました。本共同研究の成果は、2019年3月22日、日本薬学会第139回年会にて発表します。

ノロウイルスは、症状が改善した以降も1週間程度ウイルスが体内にとどまり便と一緒に排泄されるため、集団感染を引き起こす危険性が高いウイルスです。デンソーと中部大学はマウスを使った研究を通じて、コッコミクサKJが免疫力を向上させ、マウスの体内にあるノロウイルスの消滅期間を短縮する効果を持つことを確認しました。

両者は2014年に、コッコミクサKJが体内にあるインフルエンザウイルスやヘルペスウイルスの量を減少させ、免疫力を向上させる効果があることも確認しており、その作用メカニズムの解明にも取り組んでいます。
