Honda、ブラジル新四輪車工場の稼働を開始

東京, 2019年02月28日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaのブラジルにおける四輪車の生産販売子会社であるホンダオートモーベイス・ド・ブラジル・リミターダ（本社：サンパウロ州スマレ市社長：イサオミゾグチ）は、現地時間2019年2月27日に以下を発表しましたので、その内容をご案内します。

Hondaは、ブラジル新四輪車工場（サンパウロ州イチラピーナ市）の稼働を本日、開始しました。

四輪事業の基盤強化を目的とした生産体制再編計画（現地時間2018年4月3日発表）を推進するホンダオートモーベイス・ド・ブラジル・リミターダは、新四輪車工場での生産をフィットから開始し、今後は既存のスマレ工場（サンパウロ州スマレ市）における完成車生産を新四輪車工場へ順次移管。2021年に再編を完了する予定です。

新四輪車工場は、高効率、かつ環境負荷の少ない生産体制を目指し、高機能塗装技術の採用、溶接やプレス工程でのショートプロセス化のほか、最適な自動化技術を導入するなど、最新の生産技術を備えた生産ラインとしています。

ブラジルで20年以上にわたり四輪車を生産するHondaは、本日稼働を開始した新四輪車工場、および今後パワートレーン生産を中心とした役割へ移行するスマレ工場にて、地域の事業基盤をさらに強固なものとし、今後も質の高い魅力的な商品をお客様へお届けしてまいります。
