三菱電機、チェコに電動車両用モーター・インバーターの新工場を建設

欧州での電動車両用製品の需要拡大に対応

東京, 2019年03月06日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、チェコ共和国の自動車機器製造・販売拠点であるMitsubishi Electric Automotive Czech s.r.o.（以下MEAC）に新工場を建設し、欧州での需要拡大が見込まれる電動車両用モーター・インバーターの生産体制を拡充します。今後さらに世界市場で需要拡大が見込まれる自動車の電動化事業を強化し、自動車機器事業のさらなる拡大を目指します。

建設の背景と狙い
近年、地球環境保護の観点から、世界の自動車市場ではCO2の排出量削減に大きく貢献するHEVやEVなどの電動車両の普及が急加速しています。

当社は今回、MEAC敷地内に新工場を建設し、48Vハイブリッド車用ISGシステム※等の電動車両用モーター・インバーターの生産体制を強化します。今後も当社が保有するパワーエレクトロニクスや車載制御、モーター巻き線の独自技術を強みとする製品を開発・生産し、自動車機器事業のさらなる拡大を目指します。
