大同特殊鋼・ダイドー電子・Honda、「第65回大河内記念技術賞」受賞について

東京, 2019年03月26日 - (JCN Newswire) - 大同特殊鋼株式会社（以下、大同特殊鋼）、その完全子会社である株式会社ダイドー電子（以下、ダイドー電子）と、本田技研工業株式会社（以下、Honda）の完全子会社である株式会社本田技術研究所の3社は、「ハイブリッド自動車用重希土類フリーネオジム磁石および駆動モータの開発」の業績に対し、公益財団法人大河内記念会が主催する「第65回　大河内記念技術賞」を2019年1月28日（月）に受賞しました。贈賞式は、本日、日本工業倶楽部会館（東京・丸の内）にて行われます。

大河内賞は、生産工学、生産技術、生産システムなどの分野で、学術の進歩と産業の発展に大きく貢献した業績に対して、大河内記念会が表彰するものです。

受賞した業績内容

大同特殊鋼、ダイドー電子、Hondaの3社は、独自の熱間加工法により、高保磁力、高耐熱性を有する重希土類完全フリーのネオジム磁石を開発し、世界で初めて量産化を実現しました。

さらに、その材料技術に加え、駆動時の磁石への負荷を軽減するモータ設計技術の開発により、従来と同等性能のハイブリッド車用駆動モータを実現しました。

この結果、ネオジム磁石の適用拡大に際し課題であった資源調達リスクを回避し、調達ルートの多様化を図ることが可能となります。
