富士通、「都市鉱山からつくる！みんなのメダルプロジェクト」への協力のお知らせ

東京, 2019年04月01日 - (JCN Newswire) - 当社はこのたび、公益財団法人東京オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会組織委員会（本部：東京都港区、会長：森喜朗、以下、組織委員会）が実施する「都市鉱山からつくる！みんなのメダルプロジェクト」に協力しました。

「都市鉱山からつくる！みんなのメダルプロジェクト」は、使用済み携帯電話などの小型家電から取り出したリサイクル金属を活用し、東京2020オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会（以下、東京2020大会）で使用する金・銀・銅あわせて約5,000個のメダル製作を目指すプロジェクトです。

今回、当社は東京2020大会のゴールドパートナー（Data Centre Hardware）として本プロジェクトに強く共感し、当社のみならずグループ全体に広く協力を呼びかけ、多くの携帯電話、スマートフォンなどの資源を回収し組織委員会に提供しました。

当社は今後も、東京2020大会のゴールドパートナーとして、大会に関わる活動をサポートしていくとともに、持続可能な社会の実現に向けて取り組んでいきます。
