富士通、シンガポール海事港湾庁とAIを活用した船舶の衝突リスク予測技術の効果を検証
東京, 2019年04月02日 - (JCN Newswire) - 当社は、2018年4月よりシンガポール海事港湾庁（注1、以下 MPA）の協力のもとで進めてきた、シンガポール海峡の海上交通リスクを分析する実証実験を通じて、このたび、船舶同士のニアミスを予測するAIを活用した、船舶の衝突リスク予測技術の有効性を検証しました。
本技術は、株式会社富士通研究所（注2）が開発したAI技術「FUJITSU Human Centric AI Zinrai」を用いて、船舶衝突リスクの検知と衝突リスクの集中する動的リスクホットスポットを予測することができます。今回の検証により、当社の技術が海上交通管制業務で使用されるVTSシステム（注3）へ適用されることで、予防的なリスク回避に貢献し、航行の安全性向上へつながることが確認できました。
当社は、2020年までに、本技術を取り入れた海上交通管制や運航船舶向けのサービス提供を目指します。
当社は、今回の技術検証を含む一連の研究成果について、4月1日（月曜日）から4月5日（金曜日）にシンガポールで開催されている、IALA（注4） e-Navigation Information Services and Communications第23回委員会で発表します。また、本技術や船舶の安全航行支援における当社の取り組みについて、4月9日（火曜日）から4月11日（木曜日）にシンガポールで開催される、Sea Asia 2019で紹介する予定です。
