トヨタ自動車、卓球張本智和選手とスポンサー契約を締結

豊田, 2019年05月10日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車(株)（以下、トヨタ）は、この度、卓球張本智和選手とスポンサー契約を締結しました。

張本選手は、2016年 ITTFワールドツアージャパンオープン荻村杯U21での最年少優勝を皮切りに、数々の国内大会および世界大会で史上最年少優勝を果たしました。日本卓球界のみならず、世界卓球界の歴史を塗り替えている将来有望な選手です。

トヨタは張本選手の高い目標と大きな夢を持ち、挑戦し続ける姿勢に共感し、スポンサー契約の締結に至りました。今後は、張本選手の名前および肖像を使ったプロモーション活動の権利を獲得し、2019年卓球世界選手権終了後よりトヨタ（含む、海外事業体）のイベントへの参加、TOYOTAロゴ入りのユニホームで個人大会に出場します。
