昭和電工、液体塩素の価格改定について

東京, 2019年05月29日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社(社長：森川宏平)は､液体塩素の価格を以下の通り改定することを決定いたしました。

１．価格改定の内容

(1)値上げ幅
７円／ｋｇ以上

(2)実施時期
２０１９年７月１日納入分より

２．価格改定の背景

塩素は塩化ビニルなどの塩素化合物や、さまざまな化学製品を製造する際の不純物除去、漂白、中和、軟化等の工程に用いられる基礎化学品です。

液体塩素を取り巻く事業環境は、原燃料価格の高騰、設備の維持・更新費用の高騰、輸送費の上昇を受けており、自助努力の対応のみでは製品価格、サービスの水準を維持するのは困難な状況です。今後も競争力ある製品の提供と安全・安定供給を維持するため、お客様にコストアップ分の一部のご負担をお願いせざるを得ないとの結論に至りました。
