昭和電工、電子材料用高純度ガスの価格改定について

東京, 2019年06月03日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：森川宏平）は、半導体等の電子材料用に使用される高純度ガス4製品の価格改定を以下のとおり行うことを決定し、このたびお客様との交渉を開始いたします。

１．価格改定の内容

(1) 対象製品

高純度HFC-23 （以下分子式、CHF3）
高純度FC-218 （以下分子式、C3F8）
高純度六弗化硫黄（以下分子式、SF6）
高純度塩化水素（以下分子式、HCl）

(2) 値上げ幅

現行価格の15%以上

(3) 実施時期

2019年7月1日以降納入分より適用

２．価格改定の背景

電子材料用高純度ガスは、半導体・ディスプレイ・窒化ガリウム系LED・多結晶シリコン系太陽電池等の製造において、その工程で使われる製造設備内に付着する不要な化学物質を取り除くためのガス（クリーニングガス）や、基板の上を覆う薄い膜に微細な溝や孔を刻みつけて電子回路等を作るためのガス（エッチングガス）として使われます。

高純度ガスを取り巻く事業環境は、需要は引き続き旺盛である一方、原燃料価格の高騰に加え、安全・安定供給に不可欠な物流面においても、人件費の上昇などによりコストが増加しています。当社はこれまでも生産効率の向上や物流の合理化等によりコストダウンに努めてきましたが、当該4製品は採算を確保できない状況にあり、今後も製品の安定供給体制を継続するためには、お客様にコスト上昇分の一部のご負担をお願いせざるを得ないとの結論に至りました。
