デンソー、ハネウェルと電動航空機用推進システムの共同開発を開始

愛知, 2019年06月11日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社デンソー(本社:愛知県刈谷市、社長:有馬浩二、以下デンソー)とHoneywell International, Inc. (本社:アメリカ合衆国ニュージャージー州、社長: DARIUS ADAMCZYK、以下ハネウェル)は、電動航空機用推進システムの共同開発を開始しました。

世界各国では、大都市化・高密度化による交通量の増加を受け、タクシーや電車などに代わる高速移動手段として、空のモビリティ、特に電動航空機のニーズが高まっています。電動航空機とは、エンジンの代わりに電動推進システム(モーターとインバーター)で飛行する新たなモビリティです。

ハネウェルは航空機向けの技術開発に100年以上の実績があり、デンソーは自動車向けの技術開発に70年の実績を持っています。これを掛け合わせることで、両社は新たな空のモビリティの開発を加速し、世の中の安全・環境と、快適・利便に貢献していきます。
