Honda、世界初のタンブル流強化技術をインド生産二輪車Activa125に搭載して発売

東京, 2019年06月12日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaのインドにおける二輪車生産・販売現地法人であるホンダモーターサイクルアンドスクーターインディアプライベート・リミテッドは、6月12日（水）11時30分（現地時間）に、世界初※1となるタンブル流※2強化技術を搭載した新型「Activa125」を発表しました。

「Activa110」と「Activa125」で構成される「Activaシリーズ」は安定した品質とCBS等の先進技術の積極的な採用で、お客様にご好評いただき、インド市場を代表するモデルへ成長。Hondaの二輪事業の根幹を支えているモデルです。その中で「Activa125」はより商品魅力を充実させたモデルとしてお客様に支持されています。

今回、インドの排ガス新法規「BS6（バーラトステージ6）」※3へ対応するため、環境エンジンeSPをインドモデルで初めて採用。さらに吸気ポートに鋳造一体で隔壁を設けて二層構造とし、ポート内の逆流現象を利用することにより、新たな部品を追加することなくタンブル流を生み出す技術を世界で初めて搭載しました。タンブル流を生み出すことで燃焼効率を向上させ、走行性能を損なうことなく、従来モデルに対して、燃費性能を１０％向上しています。
