Honda、軽量と高剛性を両立する新型フレームeSAFを搭載したインドネシア生産二輪車「Genio」を発売

東京, 2019年06月21日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaのインドネシアにおける二輪車生産・販売現地法人であるピー・ティ・アストラ・ホンダ・モーター（本社：ジャカルタ社長：井沼俊之）は、現地時間6月21日（金）9時30分に、新型フレームeSAF＊を搭載した「Genio（ジェニオ）」を発表しました。

今回、コミューターのフレームを共通化することで、大量生産にも適応できるプレス成型やレーザー溶接の専用設備を導入。生産効率および加工精度を向上させ、安定した品質の新型フレームeSAFを開発し、インドネシアの流行に敏感な若者に向けたファッショナブルなスクーターモデル「Genio」へ採用しました。新型フレームeSAFは、ハイテン材の使用や、断面形状の最適化などにより、剛性を高めながら従来の同クラスで採用されてきたフレームに対し8％以上の軽量化を実現。軽快な走りと優れた乗り心地に寄与しています。

なおこの新型フレームeSAFは、アジアで展開している他のモデルにも水平展開される予定です。
