JAXAとトヨタ、有人与圧ローバの実現に向け具体的な共同研究に着手

豊田, 2019年07月16日 - (JCN Newswire) - 宇宙航空研究開発機構（以下、JAXA）とトヨタ自動車株式会社（以下、トヨタ）は、2019年3月12日に公表した、燃料電池車技術を用いた月面でのモビリティ「有人与圧ローバ」の共同検討について、有人宇宙ローバの開発及び国際協力による月面探査での活用を目指し、試作車の製作・実験・評価を含む3年間（2019年度～2021年度）の共同研究協定を締結しましたので、お知らせいたします。

共同研究内容
共同研究期間：2019年6月20日～2021年度末。各年度の研究内容（概要）は以下の通り。
2019年度：実際の月面走行に向けて開発が必要な技術要素の識別、試作車※の仕様定義
2020年度：各技術要素の部品の試作、試作車※の製作
2021年度：試作・製作した部品や試作車※を用いた実験・評価
※一般市販車をベースとして改造した車両

JAXAは、月の資源（水氷等）の利用可能性調査及び重力天体表面探査技術の獲得を目的とする月極域探査ミッションにおいて、有人与圧ローバの実現に向けた走行技術に関するデータ取得や実証を予定。

トヨタは、2019年7月1日付で、専門組織「月面探査車開発（室格）」を立ち上げ、年内に約30名規模まで拡大予定。
