昭和電工、温室効果ガス（GHG）の2030年削減目標の設定とGHG国際基準への準拠を発表

東京, 2019年07月23日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：森川宏平）は、温室効果ガス（GHG）の削減強化のため、中期の削減目標を設定するとともに、気候変動対策に対するグローバルな情報開示を重視し、2018年度の公表数値から、国際基準である「GHGプロトコル」に準拠することを決定いたしました。

昭和電工グループは、すべてのステークホルダーを満足させるという経営理念の下、事業活動を通じて環境問題など様々な社会的課題の解決に取り組んでいます。今回取り組みの一環として、2030年における当社グループ国内事業所のGHG排出量の削減目標を、2013年比11%減と定めました。また、2018年度より、排出量は国内外のグループ会社も含め、GHGプロトコルに沿って、事業者で発生する直接排出量（Scope1）、外部から購入した電力・蒸気等の使用に伴う間接排出量（Scope2）、サプライチェーンでの排出量（Scope3）を統合報告書・CSRサイト等で公表します。

加えて、地球温暖化防止対策を経営の根幹に据えて推進するため、2020年より社内炭素価格制度を導入し、GHG排出量の削減を投資判断の要素に組み入れます。

昭和電工グループは、今後も環境に配慮した生産設備・技術の導入や積極的な環境対策の推進、資源循環型社会を支える製品の供給などにより、豊かさと持続性が調和する社会への貢献を目指してまいります。
