三菱電機、姫路製作所「新実験棟」竣工のお知らせ

自動車機器事業拡大に向けた開発・評価体制を整備

東京, 2019年08月05日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、自動車機器事業の主要生産拠点である姫路製作所（兵庫県姫路市）に建設していた新実験棟（土山第15実験棟）が8月5日に竣工しましたのでお知らせします。順次稼働を開始し、今後需要増加が見込まれる電動車両用モーターおよびインバーターの開発・評価体制を強化することで、自動車機器事業のさらなる拡大を目指します。

新実験棟建設の背景と狙い
近年、地球環境保護の観点から、世界の自動車市場ではCO2の排出量削減に大きく貢献するHEV※やEVなどの電動車両の普及が急加速しています。

当社は今回、姫路製作所内に新実験棟を建設し、需要拡大が見込まれる電動車両用モーターおよびインバーターの開発・評価体制を強化します。今後も当社が保有するパワーエレクトロニクスや車載制御、モーター巻線などの独自技術を強みとする製品を開発・生産し、自動車機器事業のさらなる拡大を目指します。
