東京, 2019年08月29日 - (JCN Newswire) - LEXUSは、ラグジュアリーSUV「RX」をマイナーチェンジし、全国のレクサス店を通じて8月29日に発売しました。

RXは、グローバルに展開するLEXUSブランドの中核モデルであり、1998年の投入以降、ラグジュアリーSUV市場の先駆者として、全世界で好評を博してきました。

新型RXは、今後も先駆者としてラグジュアリーSUV市場をけん引し、LEXUSならではの価値を提供し続けるべく、大幅に進化しました。エクステリアでは、前後バンパーの変更によりフロントからリヤに抜けるキャラクターラインで勢いや力強さを表現したサイドビュー、L字モチーフのブロックメッシュパターンを採用したスピンドルグリル＊5など、LEXUSデザインの記号性を強調し、エレガントかつダイナミックなデザインを実現しています。

走りにおいては、新世代LEXUSの「すっきりと奥深い」乗り味を追求するために、基本となるボディと足回りの剛性を向上させたうえで、フリクションコントロールダンパー＊6を備えたショックアブソーバーやシームレスな連続可変制御を可能にしたNAVI・AI-AVS＊7を採用。徹底的な改良により、リニアなステアリングフィールと思い描いたラインを正確にトレースできる高い操縦安定性を実現しました。また、世界初のブレードスキャン®AHSや新世代のLexus Safety System +を採用したことで、より安心して運転を楽しんで頂けることを目指しました。
