Honda、作業機械メーカー向け汎用エンジン新型「iGX」シリーズの国内受注を開始

東京, 2019年09月10日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaは、独自の回転数電子制御技術を採用した汎用エンジン「iGX」に新型のV型2気筒（Vツイン）シリーズ4モデルを追加し、今月より日本国内の各種作業機械メーカーからの受注を開始します。供給は2020年2月より順次行います。

新型iGX Vツインシリーズ※1は、ECU（電子制御ユニット）がスロットル開度を常に制御することで搭載作業機械が要求する作業回転数やアイドル回転数などを正確に保持する回転数電子制御技術「電子ガバナー※2（STR※3ガバナー）」やFI（電子制御燃料噴射）システムに加え、リモート制御も可能なDBW※4などを採用することでより複雑で高度な用途に対応するとともに、優れた燃費性能と高い作業効率を実現しています。

iGX Vツインエンジン（ホリゾンタルタイプ）の主な用途
- 発電機・水ポンプ・粉砕機・エアコンプレッサー
- 高圧洗浄機・建設業務用昇降機／高所作業機

iGXV Vツインエンジン（バーチカルタイプ）の主な用途
- 乗用芝刈機・トラクター

なお、新型iGX Vツインシリーズは、米国ネバダ州ラスベガスで開催された商業建築機械の国際見本市「ワールドオブコンクリート2019」（2019年1月22日～25日）において発表しており、北米地域を中心に海外の各種作業機械メーカーへの供給を順次開始します。
