東京, 2019年09月17日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱重工業は、世界の代表的なESG（環境・社会・ガバナンス）投資の指標である「Dow Jones Sustainability Index（DJSI）」における「Asia Pacific Index」の構成銘柄に、一昨年度以来3年連続で選定されました。

DJSIは、1999年に米国S&P Dow Jones Indices社とスイスの投資顧問会社RobecoSAM社が開発した指標で、世界の上場企業を経済・環境・社会の3側面から総合的に分析し、持続可能性に優れた企業を選定するものです。2019年は、アジア・太平洋地域の主要企業約600社のなかから、当社を含む148社（うち日本企業76社）が選定されました。
