NEC、シンガポールのマリーナベイ地区に蓄電システムを提供
23棟の商業施設の効率的な空調に貢献
東京, 2019年09月27日 - (JCN Newswire) - NEC とNECエナジーソリューションズ(本社：米国・マサチューセッツ州、CEO：Steve Fludder)、NECアジアパシフィック(本社：シンガポール、CEO：赤木鉄朗)は、シンガポールの大手電力会社SPグループのSingapore District Cooling(SDC)に出力400kW、容量400kWhの大型蓄電システム(Grid Storage Solution、GSS)を提供しました。本蓄電システムは、SDCが運用するマリーナべイ地区にある冷房設備向けに納入され稼働を開始しています。
今回提供されたGSSは蓄電システム(電池部)と出力変換システムおよびこれらをコントロールするソフトウェアで構成されます。同地区の冷房システムは、商業ビル内の配管に冷水を循環させることで23棟のビルへ効率的な空調を提供しています。今回の納入により、蓄電システムに蓄えた電力を最適なタイミングで利用することで、水を冷却するための電力需要の変動を緩和して、電力系統の安定性を維持することができます。
また、冷房設備のインテリジェント制御アルゴリズムと連携して、電力系統における周波数や電圧などの電力品質を維持するアンシラリーサービスを提供することも可能となっています。
本プロジェクトはNECとしてシンガポールで初めての蓄電システムのプロジェクトであり、また冷房設備が持つ高度な予測分析とインテリジェント制御アルゴリズムと連携する初のプロジェクトです。
NECとNECエナジーソリューションズおよびNECアジアパシフィックは本実績を活かし、蓄電システム事業をさらに拡大し、安全・安心、効率に優れたエネルギー社会の実現に貢献していきます。
