東北大学とNEC、量子アニーリングマシンを活用したSI実務の高度化に向けて共同研究を開始

東京, 2019年10月21日 - (JCN Newswire) - 国立大学法人東北大学(所在地：宮城県仙台市、総長：大野英男、以下東北大学)と日本電気株式会社(本社:東京都港区、代表取締役執行役員社長兼CEO:新野隆、以下NEC)は、量子アニーリングマシンを活用したSI実務の高度化を推進する共同研究を開始しました。

NECはAIを活用したSI実務高度化に向け、膨大なソフトウェア・サービスの組み合わせ最適化問題計算や学習データの作成を目的に東北大学情報科学研究科量子アニーリング研究開発センターと
(1)量子アニーリング導入によるシステム自動設計の超高速化
(2)量子アニーリングの確率的動作を利用したAI学習データの拡充
について取り組みます。

東北大学で利用している量子アニーリングマシンや、その量子アニーリングマシンで解決可能なアルゴリズムの知見と、NECのSIにおける現場の知識を組み合わせ、実用的な利用事例のほとんどない最先端技術である量子アニーリングを活用し、SI高度化のブレイクスルーを目指します。

両者は今後、AIや量子アニーリングをはじめとする先端技術を活用し、社会価値創造を進めていきます。
