三菱電機、自動運転実証実験車「xAUTO」搭載の新技術開発のお知らせ
一般道での走行や無人自動駐車に対応
東京, 2019年10月21日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、高精度な地図情報が整備されていない一般道での走行や屋内・屋外を問わない無人での自動駐車など、一般道のさまざまなシーンに適用できる新たな自動運転技術を開発し、自動運転実証実験車「xAUTO（エックスオート）」に搭載しました。当社は、本車両を「第46回東京モーターショー2019」（10月24日～11月4日、於：東京ビッグサイト）に出展します。
開発の概要
当社はこれまで、ミリ波レーダーやカメラなどを用いた周辺センシング技術を活用する「自律型走行技術」と、準天頂衛星システムからのセンチメータ級測位補強サービス（以下CLAS※1）信号と高精度3次元地図を活用する「インフラ型走行技術」を組み合わせた自動運転システムを開発し、高速道路※2での自動運転の実証実験を行ってきました。今回、高精度な地図情報がない一般道での走行や屋内・屋外を問わない無人での駐車を実現する自動運転技術を開発し、一般道※3での自動運転も含めた実証実験を実施しています。
今後、当社が保有する鉄道や空港向け管制技術や当社独自のAI技術「Maisart(R)（マイサート）※4」などを組み合わせることで、レベル4自動運転（特定条件下における完全自動運転）の実現を目指します。
