富士通研究所、新しいAIによるがんゲノム医療の効率化を東大医科研との共同研究で実現

血液腫瘍内科でがんゲノム医療の治療方針の検討作業時間を半分以下に削減

東京, 2019年11月06日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社富士通研究所（注1）（以下、富士通研究所）は、2018年4月から東京大学医科学研究所（注2）（以下、東大医科研）と進めてきた共同研究において、がんゲノム医療を効率化するAI技術を開発し、東大医科研での実証実験によって効果をこのたび確認しました。

がんゲノム医療では、遺伝子変異から治療方針を導き出す検討作業に多大な工数がかかっています。開発したAI技術では、様々な表現で記述された大量の論文から、治療方針につながるナレッジをその効果などの関係性も含めて抽出することで、ナレッジグラフ型のデータベースを構築できます。今回の実証実験で本技術を活用したところ、東大医科研の血液腫瘍内科において、急性骨髄性白血病の治療方針の検討作業を半分以下に削減でき、作業の効率化および高度化できることを確認しました。

今後、富士通研究所は、さらなる効率化やがん種の対象を広げることで医師の業務を支援し、がんゲノム医療の普及に貢献していきます。

本技術は、11月6日（水曜日）からドイツのミュンヘンで開催される「Fujitsu Forum Munich 2019」にて出展します。
