富士通、スーパーコンピュータ「PRIMEHPC」シリーズ2機種をグローバルに販売開始

「富岳」の技術を活用し、高い電力あたり性能を実現

東京, 2019年11月13日 - (JCN Newswire) - 当社は、スーパーコンピュータ「FUJITSU Supercomputer PRIMEHPC（プライムエイチピーシー）」シリーズにおいて、理化学研究所（理事長：松本紘、以下、理研）様と共同開発しているスーパーコンピュータ「富岳」の技術を活用した「PRIMEHPC FX1000（エフエックスセン、以下 FX1000）」および「PRIMEHPC FX700（エフエックスナナヒャク、以下 FX700）」の2機種を11月13日よりグローバルに販売開始（注1）します。出荷は2020年3月を予定しています。

両製品は、世界で初めてArm(R)v8-A命令セットアーキテクチャーをスーパーコンピュータ向けに拡張した「SVE (Scalable Vector Extension)」を採用したCPU「A64FX」を搭載しています。当社がこれまで培った高性能、省電力のCPU設計を継承し開発した「A64FX」は、高い電力あたり性能を実現し、また、高性能積層メモリであるHBM2の採用（注2）により、高いメモリバンド幅を実現するとともに、ディープラーニングなどで重要となる半精度演算および整数内積演算にも対応でき、AI分野への利用拡大も期待されています。
