日立SEM社がミャンマー連邦共和国電力・エネルギー省より配電用変圧器約5,600台を受注

東京, 2019年11月18日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社日立産機システム(取締役社長:荒谷豊)のミャンマー連邦共和国(以下、ミャンマー)における現地法人Hitachi Soe Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd.(以下、日立SEM社)は、ミャンマーの電力・エネルギー省(Ministry of Electricity and Energy)より、配電用変圧器約5,600台を受注しました。受注金額は、約1,064万米ドル(約11億円)です。

ミャンマーでは、近年の経済発展を背景に電力需要が急速に高まっており、これを支える電力インフラの整備が大きな課題となっています。ミャンマー政府は、2018年まで50%に満たない電化率を2030年までに100%とすることを中長期的目標として掲げています。その一環として2015年9月、世界銀行の融資を受けて、ミャンマー全土に配電網を整備し、全家庭への電力供給の実現をめざす｢Myanmar National Electrification Project (NEP)｣を策定しました。NEPの機材に関する初回の入札では、日立SEM社が配電用変圧器約5,400台を納入*1し、今回、2回目の入札が行われ、日立SEM社が配電用変圧器約5,600台を受注し、計約11,000台を納入します。

日立SEM社は、配電用変圧器の生産を年内より開始し、2020年中に全数を納入する計画であり電化率の向上に貢献します。

今後、日立SEM社は電力・配電用変圧器を中心とする送配電機器の製造、販売、据付・保守を通じ、ミャンマー国内における電力の安定供給を支えていきます。
