三菱重工、第57回技能五輪全国大会で原子力事業部にて「構造物鉄工」金メダル、「電気溶接」銀メダルを獲得

東京, 2019年11月19日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱重工業は、11月15日（金）から18日（月）まで愛知県で開催された第57回技能五輪全国大会において、当社原子力事業部から「構造物鉄工」「電気溶接」「メカトロニクス」の3職種で9人の選手が出場し、「構造物鉄工」職種で金メダル、「電気溶接」職種で銀メダルを獲得しました。

金メダルを獲得したのは、田尻海太（たじり・かいた）選手（21歳、原子力事業部、勤務地：神戸造船所）、銀メダルを獲得したのは、岸本大空（きしもと・ひろたか）選手（21歳、原子力事業部、勤務地：神戸造船所）です。

三菱重工グループでは、三菱日立パワーシステムズ株式会社（MHPS）および三菱重工エンジン&ターボチャージャ株式会社も含め33人が6職種に出場。銅メダル2個を獲得したほか、5人が敢闘賞を受賞し、グループとして9人が入賞の栄誉に輝きました。

技能五輪全国大会は、青年技能者の技能レベルの日本一を競う技能競技大会で、次代を担う青年技能者に努力目標を与えるとともに、大会開催地域の若年者に身近で優れた技能にふれる機会を提供することなどを目的として毎年開かれています。今大会では、42種目に1,239人の選手が参加し、熱い戦いを繰り広げました。

当社は今後も、技能五輪への参加を通じて、ものづくりに携わる若い技能者の育成と技術伝承に力を注いでいきます。
