マツダ、「MAZDA3」が「タイランド・カー・オブ・ザ・イヤー2019」を受賞

広島, 2019年11月22日 - (JCN Newswire) - 「MAZDA3」が、「タイランド・カー・オブ・ザ・イヤー2019」(主催:タイ自動車ジャーナリスト協会)を受賞しました。マツダ車による「タイランド・カー・オブ・ザ・イヤー」の受賞は、2016年のCX-3に続いて2回目となります。

「タイランド・カー・オブ・ザ・イヤー2019」では、60名以上の自動車ジャーナリストによる採点の結果、7車種の最終候補の中から、MAZDA3が選出されました。

MAZDA3は、日本の美意識の本質を追求した、深化した「魂動デザイン」を体現。ワンモーションのシンプルな動きでフォルムを描きつつ、繊細なボディ造形による光の移ろいやリフレクションの動きによって、これまで以上に力強く、より自然な生命感をつくり込みました。また、人間の持つバランス能力を最大限に引き出すことを追求した、新世代車両構造技術「SKYACTIV-VEHICLE ARCHITECTURE」や、幅広い走行シーンで意のままの加減速を可能にする、最新のSKYACTIVエンジンを搭載。人間を中心に設計するという思想に基づき、クルマとしての基本性能を飛躍的に向上させ、走る・曲がる・止まるという、クルマの動きが自然に感じられるよう磨き上げています。

タイ向けのMAZDA3は、2019年5月よりタイの「オートアライアンス（タイランド）Co. Ltd.」で現地生産を行っています。
