設備の予防保全や棚の状況把握により店舗運営の効率化を支援

東京, 2019年12月11日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、株式会社セブン-イレブン・ジャパン(本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役社長：永松　文彦、以下セブン-イレブン)が店舗の課題解決を目的に12月12日(木)午前7時にリニューアルオープンする実験店舗「セブン-イレブン麹町駅前店」(東京都千代田区)に対して、設備の稼働管理や棚定点観測サービスを提供します。

昨今、社会課題の継続的な変化に伴い、お客様のライフスタイルや嗜好は変わり続けており、求められる“コンビニエンスストア像”も絶えず変化しています。セブン-イレブンは、お客様にとって「心地よく使いやすいお店」、加盟店オーナーにとって「安心して経営できるお店」、従業員にとって「もっと働きやすいお店」を目指し本店舗での実験を行います。

NECはこれまで、マイクロ・マーケット(小規模商圏)への展開を目的とした省人型店舗「セブン-イレブン三田国際ビル20F店」において、NECの顔認証技術や画像認識技術などを活用したソリューションを導入し、お客様への新しい買い物体験の実現や従業員の省力化に向けた実証を行ってきました。(注1)
