三菱電機、「Ku帯衛星通信地球局用GaN HEMT」ラインアップ拡大のお知らせ

マルチキャリア通信対応、情報伝送量の大容量化と衛星通信基地局の小型化に貢献

東京, 2019年12月12日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、Ku帯※1衛星通信（SATCOM※2）地球局の電力増幅器に使用される高周波デバイス「Ku帯衛星通信地球局用GaN HEMT※3」の新製品として、マルチキャリア通信※4に対応した、業界トップの離調周波数400MHzを実現した1機種と業界トップの高出力電力100Wを実現した1機種の合計2機種を2020年1月15日に発売します。これにより、情報伝送量の大容量化と衛星通信地球局の小型化に貢献します。

新製品の特長

1. 業界トップの離調周波数400MHzの実現により、情報伝送量の大容量化に貢献
- マルチキャリア通信に対応した、低歪特性※5を実現する整合回路により、従来比※6 80倍で業界トップ※7の離調周波数※8 400MHzを実現【MGFK48G3745A】
- 広い離調周波数における2波信号入力時の歪特性を低く抑制することにより、マルチキャリア通信における衛星通信の情報伝送量の大容量化に貢献

2. 業界トップの出力電力100Wの実現により、衛星通信地球局の小型化に貢献
- 低歪特性を実現する整合回路とトランジスタ構造の最適化により、業界トップ※7の出力電力100Wを実現【MGFK50G3745A】
- 電力増幅器の部品点数を削減し、衛星通信地球局の小型化に貢献
